We've had reports of some issues with activating Amarra sQ+ after updating your MacOS to either High Sierra or Mojave.  Please find potential solutions below.

Q) I'm running MacOS Mojave and just updated to Amarra sQ+ v2.5. I'm unable to get any sound.

A) New security measures in MacOS Mojave require that Amarra sQ+ v2.5 have access to your microphone.

1) If you see a system message that 'Amarra sQ+.app would like access to your microphone', select OK

2) Otherwise, go to your Mac’s System Preferences->Security and Privacy settings

- Select the Privacy tab

- Select Microphone in the left hand column

- Check the box next to the Amarra sQ+ icon

Q) I'm installing Amarra sQ+ and getting an error message saying "Could not set SonicStream Device" or "Error Setting Device. No such device:SonicStream"

A) We are aware of 2 issues with Amarra sQ+ in some environments where an error is generated saying "Could not set SonicStream Device" or "Error Setting Device. No such device:SonicStream"

1) If you've updated to MacOS Sierra or MacOS Mojave and you encounter this error, do the following:

- Quit Amarra sQ+

- Go to your Applications->Amarra sQ+ folder and double-click on 'Uninstall Amarra sQ+'.

- Select 'Yes' when asked to delete the SonicStream Driver

- Go to Macintosh HD/Library/Extensions folder and, if present, delete SonicStudioProcessor.kext

- Empty your Trash can

- Re-boot your Mac

- Re-run the Amarra sQ+ installer from the link below:

https://downloads.sonicstudio.com/Amarra_sQ+/25/Amarra_sQ+_Release.2.5.2315.zip

This should resolve the issue.

2) If you still have the same issue, do the following:

- Quit Amarra sQ+

- Go to System Preferences->Security & Privacy->General Tab

- Look to the bottom part of the window for a message saying that 'System Software from Sonic Studio, LLC was blocked from loading'

- Click the Allow button

- Re-boot your Mac

- Re-launch Amarra sQ+ and you should be fine.
